The Sustainable Development Goals are the basis or blueprint so that all nations in the world have one common view to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.

There are many global challenges and issues that cannot be faced if we move alone. All nations in the world need to join hands to solve existing problems and obstacles, in order to overcome global challenges.

Examples include poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice, and many other global challenges.

17 sustainable development goals

The 17 sustainable development goals are as follows:

1. No poverty

These three things are closely related to each other. The industry will be able to develop if it is supported by technological innovation and adequate infrastructure. Investment in infrastructure is critical to achieving sustainable development.

10. Reducing inequality

To reduce inequality, policies must be universal in principle, taking into account the needs of disadvantaged and marginalized populations.

There needs to be a future where cities provide opportunities for all. With access to basic services, energy, housing, transportation and more.

Achieving sustainable development goals consciously and responsibly

In order for the sustainable development goals mentioned above to be achieved, everyone needs to work together. Not only appointing the government, but all levels of society need to play an active role.

The most important thing is to educate the public about the existence of sustainable development goals. So that everyone is more aware of the existing global issues and challenges. Starting from climate change, clean water crisis, environmental damage, to poverty alleviation.

In fact, by simply changing our lifestyle to be more environmentally friendly, we are already participating in achieving the goal of sustainable development. For example, by saving electrical energy, water, and not littering. In addition, we can switch to using electric cars which are more environmentally friendly as a means of transportation that supports daily mobility.

Hyundai Motors Indonesia is ready to support sustainable development goals by presenting a sophisticated and innovative electric car that is free of carbon emissions.
